This List of notable war heroes page was inspired by noticing that war hero and war-hero are not WP pages, and knowing i couldn't write one.
Sharon is one of the biggest war heroes in Israel, particularly for 1973.

The differences between the two wars are dealt with clearly and honestly, both in the stories told and in the author/editor's notes.
It could have even benefited from a list of "speakers" in the front, as at times it was difficult to remember someone who had been introduced 50 or 100 pages earlier.
