The Lancashire Heraldry Group was set up to further the study of heraldry both in Lancashire and in general, and also to act as resources for the Lancashire Family History And Heraldry Society to refer questions which arise concerning coats of arms, crests and other items armorial.
Lancashire has a much interesting heraldry family and civic as well as ecclesiastical, which is so often overlooked and hopefully this will help a little in increase awareness.
UPDATE A list of heraldic places of interest has been drafted and is now online, some work is still required and if you have any suggestions to improve the page they will be most welcome.
