 | | Humboldt's concept of the university, developed at the beginning of the 19th century in Prussia, is at the origin of the modern university - according to Abraham Flexner, the founder of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton, and author of a study of American, British and German university and many other analysts. |
 | | But as the number of mergers grows, and as the number of jurisdictions in which mergers are taking place increases, implications of other approaches are beginning to emerge. |
