		Most interviewees thought that it was appropriate to require political parties to agree to several conditions upon registration, such as the renunciation of violence and intimidation and swearing to uphold the values and principles of the Constitution.
		The content of a political party law is secondary to larger questions regarding the nature of the political system and the ability of citizens to meaningfully participate in political life without fear of intimidation or reprisal.
