Professional wrestling is a form of performance entertainment where the participants engage in simulated sporting matches.Originating as such, in the days of travelling carnival shows, professionalwrestling's humbler beginnings include strongman feats, hook wrestling, and other acrobatic performances.
For the better part of a century, professional wrestling promoters and performers claimed thatthe competition was completely real and vehemently defended secrets of the trade (a situation known as kayfabe).
While professional wrestling moved increasingly to fixed matches around the early 1900s, there was still a strong push for most of the century to promote professional wrestling as being a legitimatesport; this movement is where the concept of "kayfabe" originated from.

Stable (professional wrestling) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In professional wrestling, a stable is a group of wrestlers within a promotion who have a common element -- friendships, either real or storyline, a common manager, or a common storyline, which puts them together as a unit.
Stables can be small groups of three to six wrestlers (like Evolution, The Cabinet, The Dudley Boyz, Team Canada, Planet Jarrett and others), or superstables that include up to half the promotion's talent roster (like nWo and Sports Entertainment Xtreme).
One of the most famous stables in wrestling history was The Four Horsemen, a stable in Jim Crockett Promotions and World Championship Wrestling, originally formed in 1986 by Ric Flair, the Anderson brothers (Arn and Ole), and Tully Blanchard.

Example: for Hawk I have listed "Road Warrior Hawk" since this is the name he is commonly known as, and it is implied that he was a member of The Road Warriors.
However, he is not listed as "Legion of Doom Hawk," instead he is just referenced as being a member of the team.
I don't claim that this list is 100% accurate, in fact I am sure there are a large number of errors either from typos or plain misinformation.
