		I guess we're meant to draw some kind of conclusion from the fact that of the nine albums listed as 2000s releases, four are compilations of older artists (Hank Williams, Muddy Waters, Elvis and Sam Cooke).
		Most albums are full of junk, so I think any list of the top albums should honor those artists who were able to put together collections of songs that either fit together well or are part of an overarching concept.
		The exclusion of the Pixies' Doolittle from the list is a travesty.

		The three Ron Nevison-produced albums in particular - "Lights Out", "Obsession" and the live album "Strangers in the Night" - are three of the best albums of the 1970s, I reckon.
		It's not a typical tales-of-excess rock biography, but an album-by-album breakdown and examination of their entire recorded output compiled from the author's exhaustive interviews with the band members over the years.
		My favorite album is "Phenomenon", but I love the first three pre-Schenker albums also and have recently began to appreciate the first three post-Schenker albums as well.
