The Island Of Numenor :: The Official Site Of The Numenor Alliance
Numenors first round in SK was a rather unpleasant one.
Numenor never got to be a very big alliance which pleased me. The most sectors it's ever had was 7 on SK.
Numenor is pretty much the same on Star Kingdoms as it is in SKlone as they are almost the same game.

Return of the King Countdown Calendar
Over time, though, the lifespans of the people of Numenor began to diminish: the first twelve rulers of Numenor after Elros live to be about 400, but after that the lifespans of the kings (and presumably of the rest of the Numenoreans) grow steadily shorter.
Tar-Palantir, the twenty-fourth king of Numenor and the last king to die of old age before the Downfall, lived to be only 220.
Unfortunately the list of kings and stewards of Gondor in the Appendices in Return of the King only show the date of death, so it is difficult to calculate lifespans.

White Council archive | Re: Royal Numenorean Names | Tolkien and the Inklings discussion
The Realm of Numenor is held to have begun in the thirty- second year of the Second Age, when Elros son of Earendil ascended the throne in the City of Armenelos, being then ninety years of age.
Thereafter he was known in the Scroll of the Kings by the name of Tar-Minyatur; for it was the custom of the Kings to take their titles in the forms of the Quenya or High-elven tongue, that being the noblest tongue of the world, and this custom endured until the days of Ar-Adunakhor (Tar-Herunumen)....
Numenor wasn't troubled by outside enemies or civil wars, either -- it's not like the kings had to establish new dynasties on their thrones.

 Miscellaneous Tales
The most notable of the Heirlooms of Númenor were the sword Aranrúth, the great axe Dramborleg, the Bow of Bregor, the Ring of Barahir, the crown Elendilmir, the Sceptre of Annúminas, the sword Narsil, the Palantíri "Seeing-stones", and, of course, a seedling of the White Tree.
In Middle-earth they were kept in guarded rooms, high in strong towers, only kings and rulers, and their appointed wardens, had access to them, and they were never consulted, nor exhibited, publicly.
It was applied first to the Harfoots, who became known to the rulers of Arnor in the eleventh century, and then later also to Fallohides and Stoors.

This is an allegory for what actually happens in our world every day: rulers, even well intentioned and idealistic ones, are ruled themselves at the same time.

Chapters/Indigo (in Canada) used to discount and promote the books on the Globe and Mail Bestseller list (yes, I know that all bestseller lists are manipulated, but at least this one is not manipulated by the bookseller directly, although they have some input as one source referred to by the Globe).
Several years ago, I went in to get a Neal Stephenson book which appeared on the list -- and found that they were now using their own internal "bestseller" list, with all the obvious attentant possibilties for manipulation.
And as with women's clothes, the exact fit depends very much on the precise shape of the last used to make the shoe, so a generic "size" is actually a very poor way of classifying shoes (aside from the fact that human feet tend to be asymmetrical and may not both be the same "size").
