Siobhan Donaghy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Several of the tracks on the album have titles which do not appear in the lyrics (see List of songs where the title does not appear in the lyrics)
Donaghy released "Nothing But Song" under this title as she did not want to be known as "The girl who left the Sugababes".
Though she has released no solo material since 2003, Donaghy has appeared as a backing vocalist on the Mattafix album Signs Of A Struggle, as well as singing on some tracks with Morcheeba.

I agree with lists (I made List of Roman laws and worked in List of Roman legions with Stan, for instance), but some are hilarious and take credibility from the wikipedia.
Trivia lists and topics (aka lists important to some people and not important to other, as mav puts it) deserve their own space, and the wikipedia deserves to be free of them.
I happen to find en:List of song titles phrased as questions to be an interesting list - it is a place where I can go to find out the title of a song of that category that I am vaguely familiar with, but I can't remember the name.

Where a song has more than one studio version I have also noted the main variations.
I have concentrated on places where Ian introduces "new" lyrics, not where he sings the same lines in a different order, or omits one verse and repeats an earlier one instead.
The Deborah Curtis book is the best printed source for Ian's writings, but it does not have a complete set of lyrics, nor does Ian always sing the words exactly as they appear in the book.

 Is Tupac Dead???
In Tupac's song "Ain't Hard 2 Find" on the album All Eyes On Me, he says "I heard rumors I died, murdered in cold blood, tramatized pictures of me in my final states, you know momma cryed, but that was fiction, some coward got the story twisted." It seems as if Tupac foretold the future.
Scarface's song "Smile", which is a duet with Tupac, was supposedly recorded in September of '96, before Tupac was "shot".
But the video for the song was released in May of '97 and the video depicts Tupac rapping while he appears to be crucified.

Guardian Unlimited Arts | | Sad songs say so much
A grim song about a strung-out former soldier that remains a favourite of audiences who prefer their Vietnam vets to be total losers.
The title cut from Springsteen's fifth album, The River is the blue-collar hero's 473rd song about how bad blue-collar life is, featuring yet another unemployed dope from New Jersey hitched to an unhappy girl named Mary (every girl in Springsteen's songs is called Mary).
Tell Laura was the first of the infamous teenage car-crash songs of the early 1960s, where adolescents get incinerated in fiery auto wrecks due to their altruism and stunning lack of common sense.

That does not mean it is the only one you need, or in all situations the best one to use.
As you scan the hit list, look for a document that is very close to the one you want, then click the little button next to the confidence rating.
The search will be re-perfomed using search criteria based on the indexing of that particular document, and a new list will be produced with the one you chose rated 100% and other hits ranked based on their similarity to that one.

Ivor Gurney Poet-Composer - Pamela Blevins: Why the title The book Five makings does not add up   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-24)
He does not write about numbers in his poetic texts nor does he discourse in his letters on the number of times he might work on a draft to perfect it as a poem.
It does not seem likely to me that Gurney was using the term “five makings” to explain the number of steps he went through in order to arrive at a final version of a poem.
Gurney does acknowledge that he was well aware that the effort of producing this “book” was his means of dulling the reality of being a prisoner in an asylum.

Dre was quoted in one of his songs, I think "Been There Done That", where he says: "I wasn't down for that Don Killuminati", so Death Row got rid of him, Tupac got rid of him.
The song is not based on dying in L.A, it's based on living in L.A. I mean, the whole song is like a huge memory and dedication to L.A, like Tupac's going to miss L.A while he fakes his death...

Trapped in a Lyric They Never Wrote! - Songs with comics
Tarzan was listed in the first draft, but I took him out because he was originally a prose character, not a comic character.
Some songs, like Black Sabbath's "Iron Man," are on the list because so many people think of the comic character and suggested the song for the list.
Characters are listed alphabetically, songs listed alphabetically then by artist (and you can argue the alphabetizing all you want, "Lois Lane" is alphabetized under "Lois" and not "Lane.") Album title in italics, then the lyric, all when available.

(It didn't matter where Bill Clinton went or who he was with, he was unmistakably the most famous, most glittering person in the room.) Hanging out with P. Diddy or Leo or Ben or Barbra doesn't make John Kerry seem more electric or attractive—star dust, all fables to the contrary, does not rub off.

 Polyamory - Song List
Most of these songs aren't really poly in the sense that people on the poly email list or the alt.polyamory newsgroup mean it, but some of them do express some of the reasons why people get involved in poly.
The lyrics are a little difficult to penetrate, but given the title there are enough hints to find a little poly content.

The classic "Unfinished Sympathy" followed, as did another compelling effort, "Safe From Harm." Finally, in 1991 Massive Attack issued their debut LP, Blue Lines; while by no means a huge commercial success, the record was met with major critical praise, and was dubbed an instant classic in many quarters.
Three singles — "Karmacoma," "Sly," and the title track — were released from the LP, which was also remixed in its entirety by Mad Professor and issued as No Protection.
The third full-length Massive Attack effort, Mezzanine, appeared in mid-1998; in addition to reggae singer Horace Andy, making his third consecutive LP appearance with the group, vocal chores were handled by the Cocteau Twins' Elizabeth Fraser and newcomer Sara Jay.
