  Minnesota Statutes 2005, Chapter 144.
The state commissioner of health shall have general authority as the state's official health agency and shall be responsible for the development and maintenance of an organized system of programs and services for protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of the citizens.
The state commissioner of health, hereinafter referred to as the commissioner, is hereby authorized to provide instruction and advice to expectant mothers and fathers during pregnancy and to mothers, fathers, and their infants after childbirth; and to employ such persons as may be necessary to carry out the requirements of sections 144.06 and 144.07.
The list of tests to be performed may be revised if the changes are recommended by the advisory committee established under section 144.1255, approved by the commissioner, and published in the State Register.

The state confiscated her goods, tore her body with hot irons, cut off her right hand (symbolic of violating her oath as a midwife), and burned her at the stake.

During the ascendancy of the Mongols, many notable leaders, including Hulegu (the first Ilkhan), belonged to this church, and though reliable statistics are not available, it is likely that this church, whose remnants today number at most a few million, boasted the largest population of any Christian denomination.

The son of Robert, the third Boyd, was Sir Robert Boyd, who joined the standard of the Bruce, and continued until the independence of Scotland was established by the victory of the battle of Bannockburn, in which he was one of the leaders.
Near the beginning of 1905 the First State Bank of Virginia was formed by his uncle and others, at Chase City, with a branch at Clarksville, Virginia of which he was a cashier until his resignation in August of 1907.
He then married Isabella Carr (1742-1808) in 1762 and a bunch of children are attributed to this marriage, most of them born between 1763 and 1778 (although one is listed as having been born in 1754 so might have been Rebecca's).
