I know about the lists of lists, and I suppose the kinds of lists I'm looking for are probably buried somewhere in its 400+ pp, which I have not been able to plow through.
In my mind (as a list owner/moderator) the definition spans those who just own and 'watch over' a list (as I do with sister-share) to receiving and posting all messages to a list, with commentary sometimes...as I do with deos-l and i am sure there are many levels in between.
If a list member's vacation program reacts to mail from the list, then the member has misconfigured his or her vacation routines or is using a badly broken vacation program.
