The purpose of this study was to determine whether individuals recognized as leaders in industrial arts philosophy are also recognized as leaders in molding the philosophy of technology education.
In the time period 1917-1957, Warner was selected as the noted leader for technology education in both the 1983 and 1993 studies, receiving nearly the same percentage of votes (40%) in each.
In Bartow's study, the time period 1957-1985 was marked by a diffusion of votes among the top leaders, while in the present study opinions had coalesced, resulting in a shorter list.

With the establishment of an independent Armenian state in Cilicia in 1058, the Armenian patriarchate was transferred to Sivas, eventually settling in the city of Sis.
During the ascendancy of the Mongols, many notable leaders, including Hulegu (the first Ilkhan), belonged to this church, and though reliable statistics are not available, it is likely that this church, whose remnants today number at most a few million, boasted the largest population of any Christian denomination.

Scopes was tried and convicted for violating a state law prohibiting the teaching of the theory of evolution.
In May 1925, a group of Dayton civic leaders met at F.E. Robinson's Drugstore (sign visible on right) and decided to challenge Tennessee's new statute against the teaching of evolution.
On July 19, 1925, Rev. Byrd resigned as pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church North in Dayton when members of his congregation objected because a visiting minister, Rev. Charles Francis Potter of the West Side Unitarian Church in New York City, proposed to preach on the topic of evolution.

I for one long for a strong leader in the mold of FDR who is willing to tell his party off and what he truly thinks of them and then rally the nation to pick itself up and transform itself into something more than a laughing stock amoung the world communtiy.
The 50 state strategy is a very good beginning, every state needs to be coming up with their own solutions and talking about how these churches do NOT have tax-exempt status(hence it can be taken away, since its illegal) and also discussing the tax problem.
The whole state of the welfare tax code needs to be reformed and cut away, get rid of the greedy corporations who have ruined the welfare system and delete those tax cuts by putting a fiscal tax policy in place for all businesses.
