Between 2000 and 2010, the population of children under 18 is projected to grow by 0.8 million; the population of adults ages 18-64 is expected to grow by about 3.3 million; and the population of adults ages 65 and older is expected to grow by about 0.5 million.
The net gain to the state is approximately more than $21.4 million in fiscal year 2006 and $21.0 million in fiscal year 2007, for a total of approximately $42.5 million for the biennium.
Because about 55 percent of all clients on the interest list prove to be eligible to receive services, the interest list is also expected to drop by an estimated 9,629 for a total reduction in the interest list of 14,689.

And new to the State Fair is Hal's Backyard Bar-be-que of Cheyenne, Wyo., which will be feeding the masses at the Dugout, near the Lottery Building.
Once listed as a State Historic District, the Fair will be eligible to apply to the State Historical Fund to restore its historic buildings and structures.
The next meeting for the State Fair Board of Authority is set for 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, at the Colorado Department of Agriculture in Denver.

Acacia is currently recognized as the only fraternity in the Iowa State Greek System with both the highest affiliated GPA and the highest new member GPA.
Not to mention the partial list of all of the activities that the men of our Fraternity have been involved in as well.
Our list of new upgrade projects includes installing energy-efficient windows throughout the house, new furniture for the foyer, converting the remaining rooms on the second floor so that each one has its own private bathroom, and the conversion of the basement area to a library/study area.
