By Ken Levine: Bring back TV theme songs!!
I concur w/ bry: the theme from "The A-Team" rawked.
Theme songs can be nice and all, but I'd be happier with them being longer if they could be their own chapter on the dvds (they always seem to be integrated with the teaser or following chapter).
Bob two posts up...the situation for THE GOLDEN GIRLS isn't quite the same, since the song wasn't specifically created for use as a TV show theme (is was originally a Top 40 hit in 1978 for its writer, Andrew Gold--although he IS 2nd generation Hollywood...his father was veteran film score composer Ernest Gold).

As well as starring in Minder, he co-wrote and sang the theme tune, "I Could Be So Good For You", which was a top three UK hit in 1980, and had a brief singing career.
In the television version oversized props are used to make the caricatured Waterman look just three feet tall (or even smaller in some cases, such as a series two episode which he is in a design of a set, which is a shoebox and he is the equivalent size to the objects).
The theme music of a radio or television program is a melody closely associated with the show, and usually played during the title sequence and/or end credits.

Which may seem picky, but it sort of defeats the purpose because, if it really were the "2 + 2 + 5", is should probably be filed as a "9" not a "5".
Why not simply use Bob Seger's "2+2=?" which is a great song and probably the first specifically anti-Vietnam (as opposed to generic anti-war) rock song, although "Cry For Freedom" by the Starfires and "Black Monk Time" by The Monks are the first to actually use the word "Vietnam" in the title.

This list doesn't include all the versions of the Batman TV show theme from the 60s (except for The Jam and The Who versions), the soundtrack to Superman or any of the other comic-inspired Broadway plays nor the various Power records of comic book dramatizations.
Characters are listed alphabetically, songs listed alphabetically then by artist (and you can argue the alphabetizing all you want, "Lois Lane" is alphabetized under "Lois" and not "Lane.") Album title in italics, then the lyric, all when available.
Batman is mentioned as the Caped Crusader in the lyrics.

The term "guide" refers to an agency for directing or showing the way, specifically a person who leads or directs astranger over unknown or unmapped country, or conducts travellers and tourists through a town, or over buildings of interest.
But the necessity for such precautions died away when adequate surveys (in which Guied officers were, at any rate in Kingdom of Prussia, freely employed) became available, and, as adefinite term of military organization to-day, “guide” possesses no more essential peculiarity than "fusilier","grenadier" or "rifleman".
The genesis of the modern “ Gaide ” regiments is perhaps to be found in a short-lived Corpsof Guido s formed by Napoleon in Italy in 1796, whicha...
