While the sport of American football is relatively new to Europe, the apparent popularity of the league and the sport in Germany is, at this point, undeniable.
The two teams emerging from the World League of American Football semifinal playoffs met at the end of the season in the World Bowl.
There are currently six teams in the league: five based in Germany and one in the Netherlands.

In football (soccer), Bundesliga refers to the highest national league club competitions in German and Austrian football, where the German football champions and the Austrian football champions, respectively, are determined.
The number of German clubs which may participate in UEFA competitions is determined by a formula that takes into account the results of a particular nation's clubs in UEFA competitions over the preceding five years (known as the UEFA coefficients ranking list).
Originally 16 teams played in the league, whereby five came each from the upper league south and the upper league west, three from the upper league north, two from the upper league southwest, and one team came from the upper league Berlin.

My current teams are Springfield Soccer Club and the Springfield Strikers (PDL) teams, but I think the best name I've ever heard of was a men's team in the over-30 league here.
We really couldn't think of anything better so I just wrote that down on the piece of paper and told the woman who does the team applications forms that I'd think of something better and change it then...

Here in London we had a "World League" franchise which was so poorly attended that it moved to Berlin and after a couple of big crowds in the 80s the NFL stopped sending teams here to play at Wembley because it proved to be a short lived fashion.
The problem with American Football is that the players spend more time off the field than on in, some players never tackle, some are not allowed to touch the ball and all wear the most ridiculous padding.
While most rugby teams allow their opponents to catch kickoffs, Lyle barrels downfield and leaps for his own team's hanging boot as though he were Jerry Rice.

Though the league 2 playoffs are very difficult to predict this season.
Teams: Portsmouth, Rangers, England NT the other three have had fair shots at the premiership, it would be nice to see preston go up
We've beaten all 3 teams this season, scoring 5 goals past Ipswich and 3 past Wham and Preston, we have nothing too fear, and I believe we can do it.

It could be a nice thing,I don't know,but first of all Royal League in scandinavia is possible because of the good organization,don't forget that..in the balkans this is crap for the moment,and then you ofcourse have the thing about crazy people not going for the match,but because they hate the other team.
The skandinavian say that royal league will help skandinavian teams to do better in europ for that reason they will play against good teams constant and that will help them to develop for international games.
Adrijatic basketboll league(Goodyear league) is a bigg success and is time for soccer to follow royal league and goodyear liga.
