Lister Cars was a manufacturer of sports cars in the United Kingdom.
Beginning in 1954, company manager, Brian Lister, brought out a series of sports cars which saw success against the Jaguar D-types and Aston Martins of the era.
However, the death of one-armed Lister driver, Archie Scott-Brown, soured the image of racing and the company ceased car building in 1959.

Graham Nash Motorsport had both cars on the track, with Brazilian driver Thomas Erdos and Mike Newton from Britain in one car, while the second was in the hands of two Portuguese drivers, Pedro Chaves and FIA GT regular Ni Amorin, with Miguel Ramos from Spain.
The drivers for the car are likely to include team manager Fabio Venier and Michel Neugarten, a frequent competitor in the FIA GT Championship over the years, who most recently drove for Perspective Racing in 2001, winning the final race of the season at Estoril.
Their Lister Storm - which is not the chassis that finished second at Spa this season, as previously mentioned - will be driven by Peter Snowdon, a successful Historics racer and Bobby Verdon Roe, a regular in the Championship for Lister Storm last year.

The car was revised for 1958 with a gorgeous new body that virtually wrapped itself around the tires and chassis, with a tall rear deck.

My first experience with slot cars was in the late 80’s when commercial tracks were popular.
After years of collecting numerous scales of diecast cars, I was amazed at the detail these cars had and instead of them just sitting on shelves collecting dust I could actually race these 1/32 cars and that is what really got me interested in them.
It takes up one side of our 2 car garage but it also leaves enough room to walk around to get a car if it should deslot.  It also works well so the kids can reach the cars also.
