		If this leaves your short list of "CDs in or near your stereo" within the first month after you get it, something is definitely wrong.

		Their first album was solely instrumental, but the presence of a vocalist this time around (not to mention a loose 'concept' relating to computers) helps to solidify the band and their music as a forerunner of the progressive metal genre, and this album as one of the top metal releases of the year.
		This is extreme metal with Middle Eastern influences and a pantheistic concept unlike any other in metal to refer to Orphaned Land as "an Israeli Opeth" is close to being accurate, but does naught to capture the amazing melodies and emotions therein.
		It is a step down for a band who just recorded with a full-orchestra and narrator, and simply does not motivate me to want to listen to it on a regular basis.

		Hunter's first metal group achieved the not inconsiderably feat of being bootlegged in the Winchester area, but little else.
		The hilarious heavy metal guitars, the Rag and Bones gig (I would give good money to have seen that), the gross death metal scene, working in McDonalds (I did that too once - my one embarrassing admission), there's so much good stuff in here that sometimes it reads like a (weird) novel.
		If you were into the genre Heavy Metal or any of its spin off genres in the 80's, then this book is worth a read.
