As we were enjoying the event a guy named Litefoot was being promoted at the event because he was releasing a new CD (he's also a rapper).
As Litefoot was walking to his booth he was being stopped for autographs and this was our chance to meet him before he got to the booth (in which we would have to wait in a huge line for).
Litefoot was a nice guy and made sure to sign for any fans that wanted his autograph at the event.

Her softer side is also on display here too though, she seems fascinated by the theatre and by Litefoot's sense of chivalry, and the scene in which she shyly displays her new Victorian dress to the Doctor and Litefoot (leaving them both briefly speechless) is charming.

Whilst Litefoot is written pleasantly enough, and is certainly like he was on screen, one couldn’t help but feel that it could have been any character in the book, and not necessarily that of Litefoot; his substitution would have been easy and it is a pity that this is so.
And to be fair he utilises both Litefoot and the Zygons rather well, the former afforded another exciting adventure in his later years after returning to his drab life after the Weng-Chiang affair and the latter is treated to some interesting background information far beyond the surface characterisation of their debut.
Litefoot works as well as you'd expect, given that the character as created by Robert Holmes was part of a double act with the theatre manager Henry Gordon Jago.

Like Watson to the Doctor's Holmes Litefoot proves an valuable ally for the Doctor and Leela, his connections and home are somewhat abused throughout the story but he takes it all with a stiff upper lip and a confused frown.
