"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a Christmas song written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and made famous by Judy Garland in the 1944 film "Meet Me in St. Louis".

A Trashy Little Christmas is an alternative holiday event in the truest sense of the word "alternative." Way too much fun to be reverent, even TT's renditions of typical holiday standards are so infused with honk-tonkin' rock and roll spirit that there's never a moment of syrupy, holiday sap.
It must been a prophecy, because all of a sudden, (and this IS the truth) the heavens parted and Abraham himself appeared unto me in all his glory.
Just like a more serious holiday events like Kari Tauring's Yuletide Celebration that I'd attended earlier in the evening (and was actually in) the point of shows like this is to get people out of their houses on these long, lonely, dark days so they can gather together in a spirit of light and fun.
