		They were called the "Our Gang" comedies, or "Hal Roach presents his rascals." The "Little Rascals" title came from a 1954 television re-airing of these episodes and has stuck to this day over 50 years later.
		Also, the same characters appear in different situations: for example, an actor who is a given rascal's father in Episode A, might be a neighbor in Episode B, the truant officer in Episode C, etc. Rascals episodes aren't part of a continuing story, but rather a series of short films not in sequence.
		While watching these Rascals episodes, I am amazed at the positive, optimistic, if sometimes silly view of life they present, considering they were filmed during the 1920s and 30s, many of these years being the Great Depression.

		Overall, this is an insult to the original Little Rascals, although it does have its entertaining moments, with some of the cameos saving the movie.
		This is one of the many forgettable remakes made on a movie/TV show and those who made it should be ashamed for trying to remake a classic.
