Little Roger and the Goosebumps - A Little History
Roger Clark and Dick Bright performed and recorded together from 1973 to 1983 as Little Roger & The Goosebumps and were renowned throughout the Western states for their quirky stage act, and their rude and corny songs.
Come 1978 and Little Roger & The Goosebumps recorded their claim to fame - a controversial tribute single, their third, which featured "Stairway to Heaven" joined in most unholy wedlock with the lyrics to the "Gilligan's Island" television show (the first rock mash-up!).
Meanwhile Roger Clark, songwriter and com-poseur by night, went into the "private sector." He weaseled his way into the elite backrooms of the sleazy citadel of the music business, learning to read upside down when standing in front of someone's desk (a job requirement at the old Variety newspaper).

 Laguna Tunes - Kenny Laguna
Back in the late '70s, Laguna produced "Stairway to Gillian's Island" by Little Roger and The Goosebumps, a somewhat wacky parody that wed the words to the classic TV sitcom theme with the music to Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" - and the Zep's management crushed it.
I mean, this is the guy with the nerve to record "Stairway to Gilligan's Island," by Little Roger and the Goosebumps, a Led Zeppelin parody so perfect the group's manager offered to put Laguna up if he didn't get it off the radio.
The album's tour de farce is Little Roger and the Goosebumps' "Stairway to Gillian's Island".

Little Roger and the Goosebumps apparently had satire in mind when they took the music from Led Zeppelin's fragrant and ponderous ode, "Stairway to Heaven," and recorded it with the lyrics to "Gilligan's Island." Don't look for this classic in the oldies bin.

As it happened, I forgot to take something out for dinner tonight and it turned into the perfect opportunity for me to do a little experimenting.

In addition to the fine lead actors, the film also has room for cameos by such local luminaries as Professor Irwin Corey and Dick Bright, whose Little Roger and the Goosebumps single, Stairway to Gilligan's Island, remains one of the greatest rock parodies of all time.
Well, I finally caught up with this a week or two ago when it premiered on Showtime, and to my great surprise it's a thoroughly enjoyable little bonbon that strips the earnest absurdities from the first film's screenplay and steers the story in a much more satirical (and rather camp) direction.

In addition, in several states the margin of victory for either Bush or Gore was only a little more than Nader's totals.  The margin of victory in Washington state (and its 11 electoral votes) for Gore was a little more than Nader's votes -- 139,000 lead to Nader's 103,000 votes.
With Nader in the race, the picture changes only a little.  In the red states, Bush leads among likely voters by six points, 51% to 45%, but  he trails badly in the purple states (52% for Kerry, 39% Bush, 4% Nader) and in the blue states (55% Kerry, 43% Bush, 1% Nader).
