Or perhaps the current furore across the blogosphere will persuade Google they are not behaving well and should aim to be less imperialist in their business methods.
The problem is that we live in the most perfect imperfect medium in the world: the Web.
We live in the most data rich environments were we can find a ton of actionable insights.

Tim 'Ripper' Owens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The young Ohio salesman and tribute band frontman made headlines in 1996 when from a fan he became the frontman for the British metal act Judas Priest, filling the shoes of Rob Halford (and, by doing so, inspired the movie Rock Star, which was later discredited by the band).
Despite numerous rumours that Halford would reunite with Priest, Owens recorded two studio albums with his childhood heroes, as well as two live albums and a 2002 DVD release.
Prior to joining Judas Priest in 1996, Owens was frontman of a heavy metal band called Winter's Bane, with who he recorded an album called Heart Of A Killer in 1993.

 REVIEW: '98 Live Meltdown
Back in February (1998) when I saw The Priest live in concert twice, I was blown away at the newfound energy these metal veterans had.
Granted, the enthusiasm of the crowd during Living is fantastic.
If there ever was a live recording that captured the true power of a metal show, the intensity of a band that is on top of the world playing in front of a wild audience, and true musical genius, this is it.

This is a live album that we all were dying for.
What clearly separates this double live album from both Halford era officially released live albums is fact these recordings weren't extra polished in studio and live atmosphere created by band remains unharmed.
The other important difference is that this time new live album has enough material and this fact doesn't allow me to call it "to short", which was the case in both aforementioned live albums.

Living after Midnight: this song is better when it isnt live.
That being said, most of the songs on here are very heavy and as should be expected with a good live album, more immediate than the studio versions.
For concert album cynics, heed this: half of these 23 tunes have not been performed on the two previous Priest live discs, and Owens really belts out those screams with greater accuracy than Halford was able to summon in his last few years in the band.

This live disc was recorded during the "Turbo" tour and is not nearly as important an album as "Unleashed in the East." Still there are some great Priest classics contained herein.
Unfortunately, this would be the last Priest album for seven years and the last album with Rob Halford as he would soon split to form Fight with Scott Travis.

Rough Edge: Judas Priest CD Reviews
I have been a true Priest fan for about 25 years, however, I never saw them in their heyday, when they were at their peak and the world was at their feet.
The problem with "Live In London," however, is that it's the second live Priest album since Ripper joined the band in 1997.
The digitally re-mastered "Unleashed In The East" is as good a live recording as there is. Priest are dead on and they deliver a live performance that sounds like it could have been recorded in a studio.

Their friendship drew closer in their early teens as they shared similar musical interests (Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Yardbirds) and both started to learn playing an instrument.
This emphasis on simple, albeit relentless and powerful beats that needed to be performed live with equal power led to Les Binks, a jazzy type of drummer, leaving, and Dave Holland (ex-Trapeze) becoming their new drummer.
They immediately embarked on a live concert tour in 2004, and co-headlined the 2004 Ozzfest, being named as the "premier act" by almost all U.S. media coverage of the event.

Bit a JP live disc just wouldn't be right without classics like "You've Got Another Thing Coming," and "Breaking The Law." Owens sounds good on all three.
The audience level doesn't overpower the band, Owens doesn't spout off like Pantera's Phil Anselmo about how much Metallica has sold out and, most importantly, the songs Judas Priest have included are all of their great ones.

American Idol, Fox's smash talent show, suffers a live, televised meltdown. By Virginia Heffernan
After going live on Tuesday—thrilling even Matt Drudge when it dominated its time slot with a 90-minute edition in which finalists sang fragments of Motown songs—the talent show choked last night during a half-hour "results" broadcast, again live, in which two contestants were eliminated.
The contestants, the judges, and the hosts appeared traumatized, for reasons that still remain grievously underexplained.
First, one of the tuneless but beloved finalists, R.J. Helton, suffered a bruising accident on Tuesday, after the live show ended and out of sight of TV audiences.

Ash : Meltdown (Bonus CD) - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
By Meltdown, Ash were establishing a pattern: each odd-numbered album has been a difficult, rockier affair, while each even-numbered album showed off their sublimely poppy side.
Lead single "Orpheus" sets the tone -- while the verses rage with '70s metal-derived licks, the choruses burst with one of the sunniest and catchiest tunes that Tim Wheeler and company have ever committed to tape.
But Meltdown's quality justifies a hefty import price tag: it's a surprisingly strong and assured record, the kind that -- while not the highest point of the band's catalog -- will help shore up their building legacy as one of the most consistent bands to emerge from the British Isles in the '90s.
