	Enchant - Live at Last - Inside Out Music - CD / DVD
		So it was sort of surprising to me when I didn’t immediately warm to their first live double CD set, “Live At Last”.
		I also thought I was too familiar with the original recordings and that this somewhat stripped-down sound didn’t gel with an unreal expectation… This is more like it.
		After all, we’re all spoiled by live recordings that are actually fiddled with in studio post-production.

	Pendragon - Live ... At Last! Krakow Poland
		After the live CD Utrecht...The Final Frontier that borrowed heavily from the Window of Life, the new one, not surprisingly, is dominated by Pendragons latest studio release, The Masquerade Overture, of which all but the opera intro and The Pursuit of Excellence can be found on this lengthy video.
		There's not that much difference between the studio and live versions of the songs, but for many among you, who have never seen the band, it will probably be nice to see them at work.
		Again, as with the IQ video, the music is in my opinion more important than the music and although this release is recommended to all of you that have never seen the band in action, I'd still say that buying their albums and visiting their gigs in the flesh is to be preferred.

	Bette Midler: Live At Last (1977)
		The promise was a woman with humor, intensity, and the widest possible pop music range, and you can still hear that women on Live At Last; she's hip enough to include both Tom Waits and Bertold Brecht in her repertoire and to resurrect frivolous Hit Parade antiques with vivacity and affection.
		Live At Last is a very accurate document; this is what Midler is: alternately flippant and histrionic, a crowd-pleaser.
		Live at Last has lots to offer and has yet to be appreciated as the pure document that it is. Atlantic should be given a thumbs up for giving their performer the chance to artistically breathe here.

		The last track is "The False Knight On The Road", which harks back to Steeleye's masterpiece "Please To See The King".
		They rattle through it at a fair old pace, lively indeed, but not quite with the precise clarity of the original studio version.
		This is a fine record, from a group who have given millions enormous pleasure and provided them with a potted history of English traditional music to boot.

		Nems lets you know that Live at Last was recorded in Manchester, England, and at the Rainbow in London, but no recording dates are given.
		But even so, fans were glad to finally have a live recording of Osbourne-era Sabbath that wasn't a bootleg.
