LiveTV - MythTV   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-06)
When you enter Live TV MythTV begins recording the channel as though it were a scheduled recording, except that it flags it as LiveTV in its database.
If there is no programme guide for the channel you are watching in LiveTV, Mythtv ends the recording automatically on the hour and 30 minutes past the hour, but it continues to record the programme in a new file.
This behaviour does not work if you are watching the programme from the Media library (outside LiveTV): to navigate seamlessly, you will have first to define a playlist of all the 1/2 hour recordings.
