		The Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent De Paul went to Ljubuski from Zagreb on August 27, 1898 in response to the invitation of the Franciscian Bishop,Paskal Buconjic, these sisters went from Zagreb, Bosnia-Hercegovina to Ljubuski.
		In 1949, communist authorities confiscated the school and convent for use as a headquarters and the sisters were exiled from Ljubuski.
		It was not until the year 2000 that the current government allotted approximately five (5) acres of land to the Sisters in compensation for the expropriated land and building.
