  Ljupco Jordanovski - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ljupco Jordanovski (born February 13, 1953) was the acting president of the Republic of Macedonia from February 26, 2004, to May 12, 2004.
As the speaker of parliament, according to Macedonia's constitution he is the successor to the president in the event of the president's inability to serve.
Accordingly, when President Boris Trajkovski was killed in a plane crash on February 26, 2004, Jordanovski was sworn in as president.

Macedonian Parliament Speaker Ljupco Jordanovski in Thursday's interview with the Macedonian Information Agency - MIA regarding the question whether Macedonia could be found under such pressure for its constitutional name to be discussed at the parliament said that it will not happen and there is no reason for such thing.
Macedonian Parliament Speaker Ljupco Jordanovski considered that the recently passed Law on Members of the Parliament was necessary and he felt no need to explain the reasons for its passing.
In regard to the fact that part of the opposition did not support the law, Jordanovski considered that it was their political assessment and how it will be useful for the next election.

Macedonian Parliament Speaker Ljupco Jordanovski announced Wednesday that he received the initiative for a vote of confidence to the Government, which has been submitted by 27 deputies.
Jordanovski confirmed that three of the signatories, Adnan Kjahil, Ljupco Paljoskovski and Eftim Manev withdrew their signatures from the document, thus reducing the number to 24 MPs.
According to the Rulebook, the Parliament can discuss on an initiative for a vote of confidence to Government, if it is supported by more than 20 deputies.
