	Llamatron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Llamatron is a computer game written by Jeff Minter of Llamasoft for the Amiga, Atari ST and PC (DOS).
		It is a clone of the 1980s arcade game Robotron: 2084 in Jeff Minter's distinctive style.
		A variant version, called Rude Llamatron, was created only for the Atari ST and includes sampled profanity, usually played when the player's llama is killed.

	SHMUPS!
		There's a fair amount of variety in there too, with lots of enemy types, some addons and extras that Robotron never had - I'll leave it to you to discover them all.
		I know this type of game is a complete anachronism in the 90's, and I know this sounds like a bit of the old rose-tinted bollocks, but Llamatron I consider to be a true gamer's game.
		Unlike R-Type and Nemesis and other classic shooters, you don't need to memorise levels or waves in Llamatron to be good at it.

	Review of the game Llamatron: 2112
		I've been told that it's a "genuine" shoot'em'up, arguably the most difficult shmup known to man. Beeing the shmup-affictionado that I am, I looked for the game and finally found it in some obscure abandonware site a couple of months ago and decided to give it a go.
		In essense, Llamatron doesn't have anything geniuely good OR geniunely bad.
		It is an astoundly mediocre game, with decent graphics and sound (1992 mind you), pretty easy controls etc. The only really cool thing about this game is, well, llamas :-)
