  Lloyd Moseby - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lloyd Anthony Moseby (born November 5, 1959 in Portland, Arkansas was a Major League Baseball player.
A centre fielder, and good all-around athlete, Moseby's nickname ("Shaker") was said to stem from his ability to get away from or "shake" players who attempted to defend him on the basketball court.
Drafted 2nd overall by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1978 amateur draft, Lloyd made his big league debut on May 24, 1980.

Moseby, 43, is sharing the regional experience with his son, Lydell, 12, as a coach for Northern California's Lakeside LL of Loomis.
Moseby is normally Northern California's third base coach, a role usually reserved for the manager.

He led the American League outfielders in assists three times (1985-87), a remarkable total, since few opposing runners dared to even challenge his skilled thowers.
Along with George Bell (LF) and Lloyd Moseby (CF), Barfield starred in what many analysts considered the best all-around outfield of the 1980s.
Selected by the Blue Jays in the ninth round of the 1977 amateur draft, Barfield debuted in the majors in 1981 and was a regular the following season.
