Lockjaw, in his own words   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-10)
Lockjaw is a Marvel Comics character who's very big (broad, heavy, with floppy skin and big paws), very strong, very unique, almost never speaks, and has the enviable ability to teleport himself and friends to just about anywhere.
Lockjaw is able to teleport to anywhere from anywhere, listen to and watch anything, manipulate things with his antennae, and grab and return any item in his amazing jaws.
At his first appearance, Crystal says that Lockjaw is "almost as powerful, and as wonderful, as Black Bolt himself" She seems to be putting Lockjaw on a higher level than herself.

However, it is now known that Lockjaw is not truly a gigantic dog, as he appears to be, but one of the Inhumans themselves, and that he possesses human-level intelligence.
Lockjaw possesses sufficient strength to support 3,600 pounds on his back and still be able to walk, as well as the power and physical toughness to dig through ferro-concrete with his paws.
Lockjaw is capable of teleporting himself as little as 10 feet or as far as 240,000 miles (the distance from the Earth to the Moon at its apogee) from his original spot.

Lockjaw speaks and requests that Luna is not subjected to the Mists because her mutation may be as abhorrent as his own...
If Lockjaw is indeed an Inhuman as he says here, that means that the Inhuman Royal Family are willing to subject their peer (and relative!) to his inhumane treatment based on his appearance alone.
Although the idea of Lockjaw's voice being a joke played by Karnak and Gorgon is by far not the best solution, it seems a better one than causing an upheaval in how Inhuman society works.

Tetanus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Incubation period length and likelihood of death are inversely proportional; a deep, contaminated wound that allows the bacteria to flourish and causes a quick, aggressive infection is much more life-threatening than a shallower, less-contaminated wound that causes milder symptoms to appear days or weeks later.
The first sign of tetanus is a mild jaw muscle spasm called lockjaw (trismus), followed by stiffness of the neck and back, risus sardonicus, difficulty swallowing, and muscle rigidity in the abdomen.
The stiffness and spasming of muscles expands throughout the body inferiorly, and can be so powerful that they cause muscle tears and even fractures[3].

Known Superhuman Powers: Lockjaw's major power is the ability to teleport himself and up to about one ton of additional mass (including up to a dozen people, if their combined weight does not exceed that limit), across space and even to other dimensions..
Lockjaw also possesses a sense of smell so keen that he can track or locate a scent across dimensional space.
Since odors cannot physically travel across dimensions, this ability of Lockjaw's appears to be at least in part an extrasensory (psionic) one, the precise nature of which is as yet unknown.

Dance Hall Crashers : Lockjaw - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Lockjaw is a wonderful reminder of the original spirit of ska-punk.
Rather than celebrate the meathead/frat boy misogyny and overly simplistic anarchistic politics that have plagued a lot of "third-wave" ska and punk-pop, Dance Hall Crashers choose to throw a big ol' party.
Though it would have perhaps been more successful as an EP than as a full-length album, Lockjaw is a must-hear for any fan of No Doubt, Rancid or California ska, pop, and punk in general.

Code-named Lockjaw and slated to launch in November, the game revolves around the secret activities of fictional company GanMed Biotechnical and its work toward developing a highly controversial genetic therapy to halt the aging process.
The hope is that players will happen upon the biotech conspiracy-themed game on their own or through word-of-mouth, and that their first encounter with Lockjaw might leave it unclear whether or not they’ve stumbled onto something real or simulated.
With it unclear where the game ends and real life begins, the result is a blurring of the boundaries between game and life that is more immersive than a standard video game.
