From 1864-1870 the Lolland Conference was combined with the Fyn Conference and was called Øernes Conference (the islands conference).
The first baptisms on the island of Lolland were Christiane Georgina Katrine Jensen and Anne Dorthea Andersen who were baptized 28 Apr 1852, followed by three more on 9 May. Early in 1852 two more missionaries joined in the work on Falster: Jens Jørgensen and Ole C. Nielsen.
