	Lomas Barbudal Biological Reserve
		Lomas Barbudal Biological Reserve: Costa Rica's extensive system of national parks and biological reserves contains areas which have been set aside to specifically protect nesting beaches for sea turtles, marshlands for wintering migrant waterfowl, nesting sites for seabirds, volcanoes, coral reefs, archeological sites, limestone caves, and on and on.
		But if Lomas Barbudal was declared a biological reserve to specifically protect anything, then it is insects.
		However, if insects aren't your thing, Lomas Barbudal has excellent birdwatching potential for the species that occur in tropical dry forest (e.g., Long-tailed Manakin, Turquoise-browed Motmot, Stub-tailed Spadebill, Olive Sparrow, and Black-headed Trogon).

		Lomas del Volcán is a small and cozy hotel situated on a mountainside within the property of a 150 hectare farm.
		Take the road that goes to Puntarenas and make a right in San Ramón, go through the town from east to west until the hospital, there will be a sign of Villa Blanca and Bajo Rodríguez.
		Keep going on that road passing by La Tigra, Chachagua to La Fortuna, then, turn to the left from east to west on the direction to the Arenal Volcano, keep driving for 2 km and then you will find our entrance at the left side of the road, then, drive 1.5 km into our farm.
