	Long Ping (KCR) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Long Ping (朗屏站) is a KCR station located in the northern part of Yuen Long and southeast of Long Ping Estate, in the New Territories, Hong Kong.
		The station is elevated over Yuen Long Nullah with two public transport interchanges on the northeast and the south side.
		A network of footbridges connecting to Long Ping Estate and other nearby housing estates is provided.

		PING can provide round-trip times between the local host running the PING and the target host the local host is pinging; however, these round trip times are often deceiving and cannot be relied upon as the nature of IP networks has altered considerably since this tool was created.
		Ping utilizes raw ICMP sockets to send packets to a remote host, calculates the difference in timeticks between transmission of an ICMP echo and receipt of the ICMP echo reply packet and produces printed, human-readable results of these measurements in milliseconds.
