	The Green Howards Regimental History, - Miscellaneous.
		At 17.30 on 13th June the Battalion was relieved by a KOYLI Battalion and moved to a rest area near the 6th Battalion.
		On 15th June both Battalions moved to Bemieres Bocage and on 17th June launched an assault on Longraye and the Lingevres-Longraye road.
		This was heavily counter-attacked and the brigade was thrown onto the defensive until 27th June when it assaulted La Taille.

	The Battle
		German artillery were now ranging onto the village.
		Morrison placed Sgt. Harris's 'Firefly' facing the approach from the direction of Tilly, Cpl. Johnsons tank was defending the road to Verrieres [which was under attack by 6DLI and 'B' Sqn.4/7th.RDG] and Lt. Morrison's tank faced in the direction and covering the roads to Longraye and Balleroy, buy the war memorial.
		Within minutes Sgt. Harris was engaging a German, 50 ton, Panther tank, with his 17 Pounder gun.

	Chapter IV
		There was no real task for the armour, which was withdrawn into reserve around Ste Honorine de Ducy.
		The villages to our front, Anctoville, St Germain, Granville and Longraye, were held in some strength, with the tanks well back.
		The intervening areas were lightly held by a thing screen of machine-gun posts, which frequently changed their positions and were reinforced by night.
