LONGUEVILLE, ANNE GENEVIEVE, DUCHESSE DE (1619-1679), was the only daughter of Henri de Bourbon, Prince de Conde, and his wife Charlotte Marguerite de Montmorency, and the sister of Louis, the great Conde.
She was born on the 28th of August 1619, in the prison of Vincennes, into which her father and mother had been thrown for opposition to Marshal D'Ancre, the favorite of Marie de' Medici, who was then regent in the minority of Louis XIII.
In 1642 she was married to the due de Longueville, governor of Normandy, a widower twice her age The marriage was not happy.

Perhaps it's my eat-out-in-London-3x-week bias, but Longueville's restaurant seemed designed for people who don't eat out a lot and when they do, are as interested in being fussed over amidst too much gold brocade as they are in eating well.
That said, Longueville's food is excellent and the breakfasts are to die for.
There are buses that stop nearby, but the front desk failed to mention them and we only discoverd this after a very long, hot and rather unpleasant (narrow pavements, lots of cars) walk into town.
