  CLASSIC UFO CASES
Zamora did not comprehend what he was seeing, so he reported in to the dispatcher that he would be out of his car "checking the car down in the arroyo." As he got out of his car he heard two or three loud "thumps," like someone slamming a door.
After Zamora called the dispatcher to report the incident, Sergeant M.S. Chavez of the State Police was directed to the site as back-up.
Zamora had not paid much attention to the "legs" on the object at the time, but now they took on new significance.

One famous example is the 1964 UFO case in Socorro, N.M. in which Lonnie Zamora, a respected local policeman, was chasing a speeder when he said he saw a bright flash and heard a loud roar coming from over a nearby hill.
When Zamora crossed the hill, he saw a large egg-shaped object with a strange symbol on it, and two men in some kind of spacesuits outside the craft.
Klass also claimed that Zamora was put up to the hoax by Socorro's mayor, who owned the land the UFO presumably landed on.

Patrolman Lonnie Zamora was following a speeder when he saw a blue flame to the southwest.
Two smaller round depressions were in the place where a ladder was placed, leading to a marking on the object which could have been a door.
It is bad in only one respect: namely, that Zamora was the sole witness (one or two leads appeared, but other witnesses could never be located), but his apparent sincerity was impressive.

 UFOs North West
On April 24, 1964 in Socorro, New Mexico police officer Lonnie Zamora was pursuing a speeding car when he noticed a strange craft with a loud, flaming exhaust moving overhead.
Right below the hill in a gulley Lonnie Zamora saw an egg shaped craft with two small humanoid entities along side the craft.
Upon observing Zamora the entities immediately boarded the craft and an explosive exhaust came from the craft as it ascended.
