 Kitchen Store
A modern kitchen is typically equipped with a stove or microwave oven and has a sink with water on tap for cleaning food and dishwashing.
Homes of the wealthy had the kitchen as a separate room, usually next to a bathroom (so that both rooms could be heated by the kitchen fire), both rooms being accessible from the court.
Some kitchens have a kitchen witch doll, which is said to prevent burnt pots, keep meals hot and flavorful, and to weave the family together.

 ICE RECORDS :: LORD KITCHENER
By 1945, Kitchener was singing in the House of Lords tent, with colleagues Lady lere, Lord Ziegfield and Caresser.
Yet Kitchener departed Trinidad in late 1947, stirred by a mixture of career ambition (he longed to be a recording artist) and curiosity about calypso’s place in the international music landscape.
Kitchener is one of the most distinguished architects of the lively arts in this century, and his mythic efforts exist in the eternal present, rallying the poor of means, reviving the poor of spirit.

 A Tribute to Lord Kitchener
Lord Kitchener ("Kitch"), the Grandmaster, was born April 18, 1922, as Aldwyn Robertsin Arima, Trinidad and Tobago ("T&T;"), into a family of six.
Thus, when fellow calypsonians were tempted to relax, feeling that Kitchener's success abroad, combined with his involvement in clubs, business, and real estate, had removed Kitch from the scene, they soon discovered the error of their thinking.
He has been known to assist young calypsonians in composing their music, writing their lyrics, giving an opinion here, adding a chorus there, teaching them how to render a song, or, if they couldn't write, compose one for them.

The morning is cool, a breeze weaves through the porch of Rainorama, his home in Diego Martin, and Kitchener is relaxed as we search for the roots of his long-standing romance with the steelband, manifest this year in the tune "Symphony on the Street" on his album of the same name.
The notorious stammer, which usually cripples Kitchener's speech, is almost completely absent, perhaps because of his pleasure in recalling those days 60 years ago.
