The water crisis in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast can be substantially alleviated without resorting to the alternative and substantially more expensive options of building new dams, desalination plants and with limited usage of recycling water for agriculture and industry usage only.
I cannot understand the logic (for want of a better word) of the Premier saying he will abide by the decision of the people when it comes to recycled water, but says he has to make the difficult decisions on where dams are to be located.
