Ayya Vaikundar அய்யா வைகுண்டர், is a Manu (father, sovereign) avatar (the incarnation of a deity) of the Lord Narayana according to Akilattirattu Ammanai the holy script of the Ayyavazhi religion, officially a Tamil Hindu sect.
But Lord Vaikundar told her that he was no longer her son, but the son of Narayana.
So Ayya Vaikundar is not merely a human, not merely Narayana, and not merely the Ultimate Soul, on the other hand he is a human and he is the Ultimate Soul and he is Narayana.

Lord Vaikuntar advised the Gurus to 'touch' with their fingers and apply the namam (sacred-clay) on the forehead of the devotees in the shape of jyothi indicating the attribute of the soul and God.

The Vaikunda Avataram is celebrated on the 20th day of the Tamil Month of Masi, the date at which Lord Vaikundar arose from the sea of Thiruchendur as the son of Mummorthies to destroy the evil spirit of Káli, not the Hindu deity, present in this Kali Yuga and transform the Kaliyukam into Dharma Yukam.
