i think it'll work cuz 6 episodes are jus enough to get the plot all set up and stuff and for us to really sink in to what is happening.
Lost isn't the only show that's going on hiatus at some point this season, so most TV bosses seem to have confidence in this type of scheduling.

A new study shows that productive time lost due to common pain conditions such as headaches, back pain, and arthritis costs U.S. employers more than $61 billion dollars per year, and most of that lost time is caused by impaired performance at work rather than work absence.
Headache was the frequently cited cause of lost work time (5.4%), followed by back pain (3.2%), arthritis pain (2%) and other musculoskeletal pain (2%).
Researchers say this study is one the first to quantify the effects of pain on lost productivity at work, and it may help employers make more effective use of their health-care dollars.

No, restrictions at home vs. work are not necessarily the same because a patient can use his/her discretion to adjust his activities at home but that cannot be assumed in an employment situation.
It requires a bit more work on my part (ensuring the employee is working within their restrictions), but it also allows me to have open communication with an employee to insure the treatment they're receiving is adequate for their type of injury/illness.
This explanation often works to turn the "thinking" in workplaces which have employees that are know which doctor to visit that will keep them off of work rather than give restrictions.
