Lou Adler (born on December 13, 1935) is an American-born, legendary record producer.
Lou Adler was once married to actress and singer Shelley Fabares in 1964 and produced several of her songs.
Adler was once known as a major playboy in the 1960s and 1970s, having been romantically linked to some of the world's most beautiful women, such as singer-artist Jill Gibson, actress Tina Sinatra, singer-actress Michelle Phillips and movie actress Britt Ekland, whom he fathered a son with called Nicholai.

With all the commercial success of the artists on his label, Adler also signed an off-the-wall act: Fred E. and Mickie Finn, who ran a San Diego nightspot called "Mickie Finn's," and got a gig on NBC-TV on Thursday nights.
