Louis III (1403 - 12 November 1434) was Titular King of Naples, Count of Provence and Duke of Anjou.
He was eldest son and heir of Louis II of Anjou and Yolande of Aragon, Queen of Four Kingdoms.
However, Louis was not able to secure his rule in the kingdom of Naples, as King Alfonso V of Aragon also claimed it and brought thev warring to Louis's own inherited lands of Provence.

Louis de Bourbon, comte de Soissons (†1641) had a son Louis-Henri de Bourbon-Soissons, comte de Dunois: France a baton couped in bend sinister and a bordure gules (D'Hozier) whose only daughter by his wife Angélique-Cunégonde de Montmorency-Luxembourg was Louise-Léontine-Jacqueline, married to Charles-Philippe d'Albert, duc de Luynes.

In November 1434 duke Louis III of Anjou, Renés elder brother, died while campaigning for Giovanna II of Naples.
René inherited Anjou and Provence and in addition claims to the kingdoms of Naples, Sicily and Jerusalem, which Giovanna confirmed on her death in 1435.

 Ladislao of Anjou Biography - Biography.com
King of Naples, born in Naples, Campania, SW Italy.
He succeeded his father, Charles III of Anjou-Durazzo, in 1386, with his mother, Margherita of Durazzo, as regent, but had to fight to take his crown back from Louis II of Anjou.
He was defeated by Louis II at Roccasecca in 1411, and had to relinquish to antipope John XXIII the territories he had taken from the Papal States, but managed to obtain recognition as the only King of Naples in 1413.
