Markus Amm - Paintings - The Saatchi Gallery
In his Untitled series, Markus Amm revives the technique of the photogram.
Pioneered as an art form by Man Ray and Moholy Nagy (the latter of which coined the term “photogram”), the process utilises rudimentary photograph principles: objects are placed on a photosensitive surface, and briefly exposed to light to create an abstracted ‘x-ray’ image, an inverted shadow outline of suggestive form.
Markus Amm’s drawings confront the same issues of illusion and space as are seen in his photograms.

Liberal MP and Hillsong church member Louise Markus has strongly rejected claims she helped the church get approval for a grant, which it was later stripped of.
The church's charitable arm, Hillsong Emerge, was stripped of a $414,479 federal grant, amid claims it obtained the funds by deceiving the Aboriginal community that was supposed to be the beneficiary.

And no reason is more important to me than to visit the electorate of my wonderful colleague and friend Louise Markus, who really has been an incredibly energetic and faithful representative of the people of Blacktown and the people of Greenway in the time that she has been in the national parliament.
Her previous career in social work had brought her in to touch with the community; had reminded her that not everybody has it easy; had reminded her that many people, through no fault of their own, get a rather raw deal in life and they need a bit of help and they need some understanding.
And I thought that figure that Louise mentioned a moment ago, the unemployment rate in this area according to last month’s figures was down to four and a half per cent which is a 30 year low.

The Blacktown Greens Blog: August 2005   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Federal member for Greenway, Louise Markus, has just released an exciting innovation for businesses in her electorate (which is based on Blacktown).
Of course Louise probably wouldn't understand the "business term" round filing cabinet because despite the fact that she claims to be a big supporter of business "operatives" (as she terms them), she has never had any experience in business whatsoever having worked all her career as a social worker for church based charities.
This poses a bit of a problem for Greenway's local Federal member, Louise Markus, who although possibly "soft on child rape" (she attended the funeral of a self-confessed paedophile last November) espouses "family values" and says she believes that children should be nurtured.
