During the past week we have housed and fed 394 displaced victims from the devastation in south Louisiana, many of them LSU alums and long-time supporters and their families.
The majority of these folks fled the hurricane with little more than what they could stuff into a small bag, and as you can guess from television reports many suffered through the storm only to find their homes were destroyed.
Many individuals and chapters have asked, “What can I do to help?” Besides asking you to give generously to the relief agencies working on the Gulf Coast, the university has established a relief fund for LSU students, who were displaced by the Hurricane.
