Courtney Love - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Love is the widow of Kurt Cobain (1967–1994), lead singer of the band Nirvana, with whom she has one daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.
Love had agreed to pay (and had been paying) the bill though the board was owned by a fan, which she had decided to reimburse in order to influence aspects of the website's design and usage.
Love recently regained the custody of her daughter after beginning a state-enforced rehabilitation program, although it is still in jeopardy due to a possible drug-related incident which is the subject of current legal action.

Love, on the other hand, were already known for their intransigence; they wouldn't gig regularly, and rarely ventured outside their LA turf.
If Love were "hoods", however, they were psychedelic hoods; the tension between their flower child ethos and their punk roots was the source of their most compelling creations.
There was a dissonance to the album which spoke to the mental fragmentation of the drug culture from which it sprang.

Love: Forever Changes ---Ink Blot Magazine
Arthure Lee formed Love amidst a flourishing L.A. rock scene that had already produced The Byrds; while that band's folk-rock clearly influenced Love, their early work also incorporated the rough-and-ready sound of '60s garage psych later made infamous by Lenny Kaye's Nuggets comps.
The album is almost universally regarded as one of the finest achievements of the rock era, but it also served as a virtual full stop to Lee and Love's quality output.
His excellent band, Love, was in tatters, with none of the members even willing to learn their parts; his already sensitive soul was overburdened with misery and drugs; and the hippie dream had imploded in LA's summer heat.

 OUR LOVE STORY album review
This LP was a distillation of the nightclub act that had started in 1958 in which had evolved to where Sheila was seen as an outstanding impressionist and comedienne.
The concept of the album is to follow a couple from their first meeting, their courtship, their marriage and honeymoon, through to the rearing of children to a reaffirmation of love and to their anniversary.
However whereas Sheila’s "Sheila" voice is not strong, her other "Lena Horne" voice and her "ethnic voices" in the amusing "Love and Marriage" number is true and evocative and one wishes she had also used others of her impressions as well.

George Graham Reviews Randy Newman's "Bad Love"
Though his albums of songs have been fairly infrequent, he has composed the scores for at least 14 films and television specials, including the movies "Ragtime," "Maverick," and the two Disney "Toy Story" films.
This album's choice of producers was odd and seemingly incompatible: Mitchell Froom and Tchad Blake, who are known for their dark, clangorous alternative-rock influenced style, with people like Suzanne Vega, who is Froom's wife.
His musical orchestrations on the album are brilliant, and really enhance the songs, sometimes by contrasting with the lyrics, and almost always provide an odd counterpoint to Newman's famously limited vocal prowess.

The New Love Album, may well claim to be something different, but the evidence is there for all to see--"Against All Odds" from Phil Collins, "True" by Spandau Ballet and "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin--all great tracks, but great slushy romantic tracks.
It also features one of the greatest love songs of the 20th century--Robbie Williams' "Angels", which single-handedly increased the credibility of the love song, taking it away from the schmaltzy sentimentality of the school of Celine and giving it some real heart and emotion.
