	Low (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Live, Low shows a sense of humor not necessarily found on their recordings; a tour in early 2004 featured a cover of OutKast's hit song "Hey Ya." At a gig in Los Angeles on Halloween 1998, the band took the stage as a Misfits tribute act, complete with corpse paint and fl clothing.
		The band's mainstream exposure has been limited: their best-known song is arguably a hymnal version of "The Little Drummer Boy," which was featured in a Gap television ad that depicted a snowball fight in slow-motion to match the song's glacial tempo.
		Low are hardly a Christian rock group, however, at least in the usual sense: neither Sally's religious affiliation (or lack thereof) nor Parker and Sparhawk's faith is mentioned in their latest press kit.

		Henry Ruhwiedel, Chief Engineer of WYIN TV in Gary, Ind. reported that at his house 30 miles from Chicago, DTV Channel 3 was not receivable when his antenna was pointed at Chicago (340 degrees), but was marginally receivable (he estimated about 1 dB over threshold) at 140 degrees.
		Henry uses a Winegard medium fringe antenna with 40 feet of coax, an amplified splitter and another 30 feet of coax to the receiver.
		The only way to overcome man-made noise is to either eliminate or quiet the source of the noise (unlikely to happen) or increase the power of the low-VHF DTV transmitter.

		Several years ago a friend of mine (W7AE)(sk) and myself became interested in low band dxing.
		Lacking room for a beverage receiving antenna, we constructed several loop receiving antenna to see if we could find a suitable low /lower noise receiving antenna.
		W7AE built the first loop for 160m following plans laid out in the ARRL Antenna Handbook.
