The comet, named Bradfield, is racing through the inner solar system at a time when two other comets are expected to become visible to the naked eye, providing a rare trio of opportunities this spring.
Bradfield first spotted it low in the western evening sky with his 10-inch telescope on March 23 and again on March 24.
As it dashes past the Sun however, comet Bradfield will be visible to those using computers and accessing near-live images from the SOHO Web site (http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime-images.html), primarily in images from the LASCO C3 instrument.

The Parish of Bradfield was first settled by farmers 4000 years ago, as evidenced by a stone circle on Broomhead Moors which is thought to have been used as a calendar.
The centrepiece of the picturesque village of High Bradfield is the 15th century St Nicholas Parish Church, and at the gate of the church is the only surviving Watch House in Yorkshire, built in 1745 to prevent body snatching from the nearby graveyard.
Down in Low Bradfield which, oddly enough, is located just down the hill from High Bradfield, there is a stream by an old mill dam which is home to dozens of ducks and geese.

The Great Sheffield flood, also known as the Great Inundation, was a disaster that devastated parts of Sheffield, England on March 11, 1864.
The flood occurred following the collapse of the newly completed the Dale Dyke Dam at Low Bradfield on the River Loxley.
This sent a wall of water flooding down the Loxely valley, through Loxley and Hillsborough, and then down the River Don through central Sheffield, Attercliffe and as far as Rotherham.

Expectations on Thursday that comet Bradfield would be easily visible to the unaided eye this weekend have been downgraded as more was learned about the object.
Comet Bradfield, which was discovered only last month and just rounded the Sun, was imaged in the predawn sky by Austrian skywatcher Michael Jaeger Thursday morning.
As it raced around the Sun inside the orbit of Mercury, Bradfield's surface ice and dust was boiled away dramatically, creating a large head, or coma, and a strong tail.

They were concerned that the toilets were very well used particularly in the Summer months and are an essential facility for the many visitors who come to enjoy the village and surrounding countryside.
[This includes the facilities at Low Bradfield, Rivelin Valley Road near the Post Office and Fox House, which were not included in the original provisional proposals and have been recommended to remain open specifically as a result of consultation with Area Panels].

I made an error of judgement map reading the last time we were here that resulted in a very long ride that involved many hills.
We found a cafe that was exactly what was required in a place, Lower Bradfield, that one might have expected would not contain a place that served good coffee, nice food and according to the experts in the field items that might only found in such locations as Harvey Nicholl, an international luxury lifestyle store.
I did not find it surprising that I could buy cheese that had been made on a named farm and wrapped in nettle leaves in a village post-office that also had a great cafe but I am an extreme optimist.
