		"Low Rider" is a song written by the funk (United States biochemist (born in Poland) who showed that several diseases were caused by dietary deficiencies and who coined the term `vitamin' for the chemicals involved (1884-1967)) band, War (The waging of armed conflict against an enemy).
		This song was also covered by Cypress Hill (additional info and facts about Cypress Hill) and Korn (additional info and facts about Korn), though the former's version differed greatly.
		The song was featured in several movies, including the Cheech and Chong (additional info and facts about Cheech and Chong) series.

		This is a song I was totally sick of by the end of 96, I caught it at every third show it seemed and it never really changed much.
		First set totally rocked every song was played perfectly, no flubs, the boys were very tight and right on with one another. The second set was pure bliss, The band could not have planned this out, everysong segued into one another like it wsa natural, best music I have heared in years.
		LOW RIDER> as the jam melted into this, people started freaking out when they realized it was this song.

		This instrumental song slowed things down a little bit and acts as an interlude between the bustle of Kentucky backroads with all their coal trucks and the awkward nature of Missouri residents and the rough hills of the state.
		This song is very appropriate for the Kansas segment not only because it is from the group Kansas but because it talks about wind - which there is plenty of in Kansas.
		This song was played on the local NPR station when I was in Oregon on Day 60.
