The name "Oder" is in overwhelming use in English: every major English encyclopedia uses it, as do news organisations and even the English page on the Szczecin city website uses it.
Oder and Niesse are just German borrowings of the Slovian name (of course German may use whatever names they want).
In February Taw had last time the idea to change all occurrences of Odra to Oder, making comments like now ("this river is called Odra and not Oder"), not at all responding to the common sense, that a river may bear more than one name, which may both be correct.

What do you think about that solution: call it "Oder" in articles relating to German regions (Lower Oder Valley National Park), call it "Odra" in articles relating to Polish regions (Szczecin).
As for Oder/Odra and Neisse/Nysa, these are common German-Polish rivers, so I don't see, why the name "Oder" should be forgotten in the future, as Space Cadet predicted.
If you agree, I change the name for the German regions back to "Oder" and link it to "Odra".
