January 13, 2004, Doylestown, PA -- On Wednesday, March 3, 2004, a public meeting will be held at the Churchville Nature Center from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at which the findings and results of the Draft Lower Neshaminy Creek Rivers Conservation Plan will be presented.
The plan, which is being developed by Heritage Conservancy, a coalition of local and county governments, environmental and public interest groups, will address needs to protect and improve the land, water and cultural resources of the Neshaminy Creek watershed from Northampton Township to the Bensalem Township border.
The lower Neshaminy Rivers Conservation Plan is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
