Although the tax rate, the levy and spending are down, some property owners could see an increase in the town portion of their tax bills, depending on how much their property assessments rose.
Supervisor Gary Wickert said Thursday that Town Board members were able to decrease spending and the tax levy in part because of a saving generated by switching to a new health insurer.
