Clark County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
The racial makeup of the county was 98.05% White, 0.13% Black or African American, 0.48% Native American, 0.30% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.56% from other races, and 0.47% from two or more races.
In the county, the population was spread out with 29.90% under the age of 18, 7.70% from 18 to 24, 26.20% from 25 to 44, 20.20% from 45 to 64, and 16.00% who were 65 years of age or older.

Loyal, in general with most of the other towns in Clark County, is supplied with splendid roads.
The village of Loyal is situated nearly in the center of the township.
Also the Wisconsin Central line, from Marshfield to Chippewa Falls, is located through the town, and options on right of way have been secured, and this line will also include the villages of Loyal and Spokeville.

As time went on it became known that the City was not willing to accept the gift and it was suggested by a Council member that if the yet unformed historical group would be willing to accept the gift, the City would provide money for relocating the depot replica on a site yet unknown.
In addition to Modern Woodmen, the Loyal Lions and the Loyal Legion made substantial donations to our cause and many local and outside communities and individuals also provided funds for the silent auctions.
Our goals are to make Loyal a better place to visit and to live, and to preserve as much history of the city and surrounding area as we can.

This was one of six tornadoes to occur in west central Wisconsin on this date between 4PM and 8 PM.
What was probably a family of tornadoes moved northeast from near Augusta (Eau Claire County) to 10 miles southwest of Thorp (Clark County) to north of Chelsea (Taylor Co.).

The British and their Indian allies maintained a strong hold over Wisconsin and other parts of the Midwest, but this did not stop the British from returning these lands to the Americans when the war ended in 1814.
Congress allocated $447,339, with $150,000 to be used by the Wisconsin Potawatomi to buy their own land, which was then put under federal trust for the tribe.
The Wisconsin Potawatomi are federally recognized, but are included on the tribal roll of the Kansas Potawatomi.
